Job summary

Aeropeople Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. The role is based in Glasgow with a hybrid pattern (2-3 days on site) and a 37-hour week with 1pm finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Manufacturing/ Process/ Method Planning, NC Programming, Tool Definition, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Systems Implementations or Facility Investment activities.

Responsibilities

• Significantly influence, collaborate and coordinate Manufacturing Engineering activities to shape shipbuilding capability on the Clyde and with customers and partners.
• Lead, develop and motivate assigned team members through open and honest communication.
• Define, approve and manage facilities, equipment, tooling, processes, and manufacturing instructions where appropriate.
• Influence product design to meet operational capabilities and optimise cost, quality and delivery.
