Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement across MRO processes. You will drive improvements in turnaround time, quality, cost and delivery while ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You'll work with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to champion new repair solutions, automate and digitalise processes, and standardise repair methods and documentation to maximise productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement within a complex engineering environment.
• Experience within MRO operations and knowledge of Part 145 would be desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience deploying APQP standards and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Drive improvements to turnaround time, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Provide technical leadership for MRO processes, repairs and test-related issues.
• Standardise repair processes, test methods and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalisation to reduce waste.
