Zusammenfassung

Eaton Wimborne is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support its air-to-air refuelling and actuation value streams. The role focuses on creating and optimising assembly and testing processes, while providing daily technical assistance to shop-floor operatives to ensure on-time delivery to customers at the highest quality standard.

On-site attendance is required. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace, with knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 21

Qualifikationen

• HNC/HND in Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Manufacturing Engineer, ideally aerospace with knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 21 or 145.

Aufgaben

• Be responsible for all Manufacturing Engineering tasks within the facility, ensuring aerospace regulations.
• Interpret drawings and test schedules to create manufacturing instructions in ERP systems.
• Provide technical advice on projects, liaising with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Analyse manufacturing problems and propose shop-floor solutions.
• Maintain production routings and bills of material in the ERP system.
• Review engineering changes and define suitable manufacturing embodiment points.
• Support wider engineering in resolving design issues.
• Collaborate with internal supply chain and suppliers to optimise processes.
• Identify tooling requirements and implement build sequence improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and increase repeatability.
• Participate in daily tier meetings, MRB and EC reviews.
• Promote health and safety culture and zero-defect principles.
