Job summary

Rising Talent Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a global leader in semiconductor packaging, is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer to drive design, development and introduction of new packaging technologies.

You will combine hands-on engineering with project leadership, work with customers and internal teams, and apply DOE, FMEA and DFM to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related scientific discipline or significant equivalent industry experience.
• At least five years of experience in semiconductor and/or optical component manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor assembly: wafer sawing, epoxy/solder die attach, wire bonding.
• Mechanical design using CAD (SolidWorks) with thermal or stress modelling.

Responsibilities

• Designing component packages for semiconductor and photonic devices.
• Developing and optimising assembly processes.
• Supporting hands-on manufacturing and process operations.
• Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to production.
• Managing technical projects with planning, scheduling and customer communication.
• Driving continuous improvement through DOE, FMEA and DFM principles.
• Collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and customer teams.
