Job description

Our Restructuring practice serves as a financial advisor to companies, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, and other interested parties in distressed situations across virtually every industry and situation. At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients’ most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges.

As a Senior Manager, you will be driven, willing to take risks, solve problems, be a team player, and influence others within our Restructuring business.

You will work with the current management teams for London Advisory, focusing on non-formal restructuring and advisory assignments across the UK, including:

1. Independent Business Reviews (“IBRs”)
2. Long-term integrated forecast appraisals
3. Pre-lending reviews
4. Options reviews
5. HMRC Time To Pay Arrangements
6. Accelerated M&A
7. Prepare and provide reports to Managing Directors, delegating tasks as needed, and ensuring timely completion.
8. Supervise detailed financial analyses, including statutory accounts, management information, cash flow forecasts, and long-term models, identifying key trends and performance drivers.
9. Manage stakeholder relations, liaise with clients, employees, agents, and solicitors as necessary.
10. Ensure all deadlines are met.
11. Create forecasts using Microsoft Excel and other financial software, based on client data.
12. Guide, motivate, mentor, and assist team members, supporting their training and career progression, and conducting appraisals.
13. Assist in preparing tenders for new work and lender panels, liaising with other offices and service lines.
14. Review Information Memorandums and liaise with potential purchasers in accelerated M&A transactions.
15. Promote Kroll’s business and services through hosting, attending marketing events, seminars, and client presentations.

Requirements:

1. Experience managing advisory cases from initial client contact to final review.
2. Experience overseeing quality control, recoveries, billing, career development, and resource management.
3. The candidate should be risk-tolerant, driven, a team player, and influential in motivating others.
4. Strong business development skills, a personal network, and experience in producing tenders, sector analysis, and supporting marketing initiatives.
5. Experience in a managerial role within an advisory team at a top UK accountancy practice or equivalent, with a strong academic background, relevant accounting qualifications, and insolvency experience beneficial.
