CHANEL

At Chanel, our values are grounded in creating the conditions for people to perform at their best and feel fulfilled and confident in their work.

As part of the Future of Finance initiative, Chanel is implementing Coupa, a global Source to Pay solution to manage and improve indirect procurement and finance processes. This will help to harmonise upstream and downstream processes within the Finance organisation, elevate the Indirect Procurement teams’ position in the business and help all parts of the Chanel business to work with state-of-the-art technology, optimise processes and align purchasing decisions with preferred, contract backed Suppliers.

About The Role

You will collaborate with Business Stakeholders across the market and at the global level at all management levels as well to measure the success of our S2P process improvement roadmap. You will effectively facilitate and guide stakeholders to an aligned understanding of insights generated by data, and “follow the data” to generate further insights as the business needs demand. You will work in partnership with CHANEL’s Corporate Data and Analytics team to ensure correct data access and lineage to ensure accurate reporting from the source. You will look for opportunities to optimize our existing dashboards and reports and will partner with the appropriate stakeholders and teams to execute.

  • Design and implement reports covering all stages of the S2P cycle, including spend analysis, contract management, and invoice processing with accuracy and speed.
  • Identify KPIs and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of S2P processes utilising available BI tools, in partnership with Global Process Owners and the Corporate Data and Analytics team.
  • Quickly design proof of concept dashboards/reports in Excel and respond to iterative feedback.
  • Facilitate the distribution of global KPIs (strategic and operational) to regional and local finance teams.
  • Liaise between Business and the Corporate Data and Analytics team.
  • Take an investigative approach to leverage data from multiple sources to perform root cause analysis.
  • Provide day-to-day customer support in a highly professional manner as a representative of the CHANEL Source-to-Pay function to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Provide overall support to the RUN team as needed.

What you will bring/have

  • Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation with a global scope.
  • Procurement or Financial reporting background with excellent Excel skills and advanced experienced in BI tools e.g., PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), confidence in presenting virtually and directly to large/senior audiences.
  • Detail-orientated and with good data analysis skills.
  • Proactive nature, time management, prioritisation skills, and a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to think strategically, self-motivated, and capable of working with little supervision.
  • Proven mastery of data analysis: trend identification, data quality assessment, statistical analysis techniques
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in getting to the root of a problem and driving.
  • Strong organisation skills and an eye for detail, balanced by an ability to summarise insights and present to/interact with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Shown interest in defining financial success metrics
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems and deal with ambiguity.

You are energised by

  • Working in global organisations with the highest degree of complexity.
  • Working in and with a flexible, highly professional open-minded and multicultural team.
  • Successfully prioritising and efficiently managing multiple assignments.
  • Building meaningful relationships with your stakeholders and pre-empting their needs.

At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress. We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity, and effectiveness of our teams. We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience, and potential you could bring to CHANEL.
