Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the Reactor Island Holistic Layout, coordinating a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, safe and buildable layouts for our SMR programme.

You will guide design development across disciplines, manage interfaces, and ensure alignment with programme milestones, safety and quality targets while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading complex engineering, layout, installation or integration programmes.
• Demonstrable systems engineering experience including requirements management and gated design reviews.
• Experience leading teams or programmes with planning, monitoring progress, and delivering milestones.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and delivery of the Reactor Island Holistic Layout, ensuring design solutions meet programme, safety, quality and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary IPTs across Civils, Architecture, Systems, Mechanical Handling, CAD and other functions.
• Drive holistic layout solutions through all design phases from concept to detailed design.
• Support optimisation of plant layouts through robust engineering decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
