Job Description

The KPMG Private Client tax team is a fast-growing and integral part of the wider KPMG tax practice. To support further growth, we are looking to appoint a Senior Manager.

We seek excellent candidates with a proven track record in this area who are looking for a dynamic and supportive working environment to deliver these solutions.

You will be expected to lead the delivery of quality outputs to our clients and participate in winning new clients by bringing innovative offerings to the market. Your client base will include high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, shareholders, and international clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with portfolio clients and identify new business leads.
2. Build and expand your internal and external network to generate new opportunities, focusing on assigned clients and targets.
3. Assist in managing the local team, including coaching and developing team members.
4. Collaborate with Corporate Finance colleagues to deliver tax advice during transactions.
5. Assess clients' personal tax positions and develop innovative solutions.
6. Manage the delivery and implementation of complex tax advice projects.
7. Manage project finances, including WIP and billing controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent with strong personal tax experience.
2. Technical expertise in private client advisory matters, including shareholder tax planning, transaction advice, tax reliefs (such as BADR and BPR), and international tax planning.
3. Strong commercial awareness to engage confidently with business owners.
4. Proven ability to build long-term relationships with senior executives and shareholders, generating advisory opportunities.
5. Passion for delivering exceptional client service through strong relationships.
6. High motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
7. Strong team ethic and resource development skills.
8. Self-starter with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
