Job summary

Belfast Health & Social Care Trust is seeking a Senior Manager Patient Experience to lead the professional nursing role for patient experience. You will support the Deputy Director of Nursing/User Experience, guide the division, and drive the Trust's patient experience objectives with strategic expertise.

You will lead a team, embed quality improvement and clinical governance, and work across divisions to promote safety, quality and patient-centered care within a major health and social care

Qualifications

• University degree or relevant professional qualification and at least 3 years in a senior nursing or professional management role.
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Demonstrated delivery against performance management programmes and targets.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the patient experience agenda across the Trust.
• Provide strategic nursing advice and support to leadership teams.
• Manage and modernise the patient experience team to improve patient care.
• Collaborate with divisions to embed safety, quality and patient experience initiatives.
• Provide leadership on improvement methodology and governance for patient experience.
• Ensure resources are used to meet patient and family needs within the area of responsibility.
