Job summary

Wise is seeking a Business Operations Senior Manager to join a newly formed entity COO team in the UK. This high-profile role supports the establishment of entity-level governance, resilience frameworks, and intra-group service oversight.

You will validate performance, monitor data quality, and produce management information for Boards and regulators, focusing on customer outcomes and risk controls within a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing outsourcing activities, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Understanding of U.K. regulatory requirements related to outsourcing and operational resilience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalise our intra-group outsourcing framework. Actively monitor, validate, and challenge the service levels (SLAs), KPIs, and customer outcomes delivered by Group functions.
• Support the design, mapping, and ongoing testing of Important Business Services (IBS) and impact tolerances, ensuring the subsidiary meets regulatory expectations.
• Maintain a real-time, entity-level view of major incidents and changes; oversee severity classifications and remediation tracking.
• Draft clear, audit-ready MI, dashboards, and evidence packs for Board committees and senior executives.
• Act as operational gatekeeper for change management when product launches or infrastructure updates affect entity servicing and risks.
