Job summary

Wise in London is seeking an Analytics Director to own measurement frameworks, data governance and risk reporting across major fintech domains. You will lead a high‑performing team and partner with Data/Engineering to ensure audit‑ready insights and reliable data lineage.

You will design standardized risk metrics (KRIs/KPIs), drive sign‑off processes, and balance risk reduction with customer impact. This is a strategic, leadership role in a regulated technology environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of management experience in fintech or regulated technology.
• Familiar with control frameworks and LoD models and how analytics supports oversight.
• Proven ability to build cross‑domain measurement and reporting with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Analytics roadmap and coach a high‑performing team.
• Standardise risk metric calculation logic, KRIs/KPIs, and attribution.
• Partner with Data/Engineering to align instrumentation and data models with risk needs.
• Drive insight‑to‑action loops balancing risk reduction with customer impact.
• Establish governance cadences and cross‑line collaboration to prevent drift.
• Provide analytics leadership for Financial, Fincrime, Ops, Resilience and Reg stakeholders.
