Job summary

DWF is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our Central Services leadership team on a hybrid basis across the UK. The role acts as a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer, coordinating interdependencies across projects and ensuring the programme aligns with overall business goals.

You will develop governance, reporting and performance insights, challenging delivery where needed, and partnering with senior leaders across Technology, Data, Risk, Legal and Operations to drive

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting executive leadership teams and COO functions.
• Proven ability to operate in complex, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience leading strategic business change and operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong governance, performance reporting and KPI monitoring capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management with credibility and influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the COO in fostering a high-performance culture across Central Services.
• Represent Central Services in internal and external meetings; deputise for the COO when needed.
• Identify, monitor and manage programme interdependencies, risks and barriers.
• Provide independent assurance and constructive challenge on project delivery.
• Establish governance frameworks, SLAs, KPIs and management reporting processes.
• Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards and data-driven insight.
• Collaborate with Technology, Data, Risk, Legal and Operations to execute priorities.
• Monitor cost-saving initiatives and realise projected benefits.
