Job summary

Wise is seeking an Internal Audit Manager for the Operations / Safeguarding risk portfolio in London. You will coordinate and run internal audits, lead teams, and collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen governance, risk management, and controls.

The role emphasizes data-driven audit techniques and continuous monitoring in a fast-paced fintech environment. The successful candidate will have 4–5+ years in assurance, risk or control roles, experience in fintech, and

Qualifications

• Clear working knowledge of safeguarding/CASS and audits in operations or treasury.
• Experience in technology, fintech or broader financial services industries.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership over complex areas.
• Strong coordination and ability to hold teams to deadlines.
• Curious with data analytics and technology in decision making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute internal audits across the Operations/Safeguarding risk portfolio.
• Develop continuous monitoring and automated audit routines.
• Plan, execute and report audits; manage audit teams.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders; ensure timely audit outcomes.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and measure improvements.
• Travel to Wise offices as needed to meet objectives.
