Job summary

ClearScore is seeking a hands-on Head of Mortgage Operations to lead our First Charge mortgage brokerage operations in the UK. You will shape the operating model, define processes and controls, and partner with Home Lending leadership to scale the function.

You will own end-to-end underwriting, offers and completion, ensuring a high-quality customer and adviser experience while meeting regulatory requirements. A hands-on leader who builds teams and processes from the ground up will thrive.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading mortgage operations within a UK First Charge Mortgage Brokerage.
• Proven track record of building or scaling mortgage operations, creating processes, controls and teams for growth.
• Deep knowledge of the end-to-end mortgage journey from application submission through underwriting, offer and completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational journey from application to completion.
• Own operational performance, pipelines, workflows and capacity management.
• Build partnerships with advisers, lenders and conveyancers to keep cases moving.
