Harvey Sutton is a leading recruitment firm, specialising in Reward & Incentives, and is a preferred supplier for top consulting and advisory firms in these areas. We are currently working with one of the top professional services firms to find a Senior Manager, Employee Benefits for their growing team.

As an Employee Benefits Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Pension Consulting and Risk & Regulation team, advising clients in the Healthcare and Risk sectors. Your role will involve aligning benefits with corporate strategy, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and supporting employee wellbeing, performance, and retention. You will work with high-profile organisations, entrepreneurs, and family businesses, guiding them through complex rules and their impacts on employees. You will also influence business strategy, drive proposition development, and contribute to business growth by generating new revenue streams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading employee benefits projects within Healthcare and Risk sectors
  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients, handling reports, communications, and provider contracts
  • Acting as the primary contact or escalation point for clients
  • Delegating work to team members, including Managers and Senior Associates
  • Providing training, support, and development to team members
  • Ensuring internal risk management and compliance with internal and FCA regulations

Skills required:

  • Extensive experience managing employee benefit projects
  • Deep knowledge of EB products, especially Healthcare and Risk, including flexible benefits
  • Experience advising on UK Healthcare arrangements, trust-based and insured schemes
  • Experience advising on UK group risk products and individual insurance arrangements
  • Ability to advise on global benefits provision
  • Consultative and pragmatic approach to client strategy and delivery
  • Knowledge of UK and global employee benefits market trends
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical language
  • Experience managing people, overseeing work, coaching, and collaborating
