BDO is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Corporate Reporting Advisory Team (CRT) within the Audit Quality Directorate. You will report to AQD lead partners and collaborate with Directors to shape the team and deliver high-quality financial reporting guidance.

The role requires ACA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalence, senior management experience in a technical reporting environment, and the ability to provide practical solutions while coaching junior staff and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Be ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
• Be a Manager or Senior Manager in a technical team or have other relevant experience in technical financial reporting.
• Exhibit a strong working knowledge of IFRSs, UK GAAP, and the Companies Act and related reporting requirements.
• Have practical experience of performing technical reviews of annual reports of listed companies.

Responsabilités

• Technical review of a personal portfolio of annual reports of publicly traded and other higher risk companies, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clear and practical solutions to complex financial reporting queries and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare, review and present financial reporting training, updates and seminars internally and externally.
• Develop financial reporting tools and guidance for use by partners and staff and write articles for internal/external communications.
• Support and coach junior CRT and wider AQD team.
