Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Manager to join GSK's Cyber Security Office (CSO). You will collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to enhance cloud security governance, support cloud migration, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

The role requires adapting to a fast-paced, agile environment and working across multiple geographies and organizational units, including security, IT, development, and operations teams.

This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement enterprise cloud security programs, focusing on modern architecture patterns and technologies. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to align stakeholders with security strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cloud and container security governance frameworks for multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
  • Define and implement security standards, policies, and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Create and update cloud security architecture and roadmaps.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand future cloud requirements.
  • Review security controls and guidance for cloud services and Kubernetes.
  • Establish security best practices for Kubernetes and cloud services.
  • Lead security discussions within teams and leadership groups.
  • Perform security reviews for large cloud projects, ensuring secure-by-design principles.
  • Consult on security architecture and risk assurance.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats and market trends.
Essential Skills
  • At least 8 years in information security, with 3+ years in cloud/container security.
  • BSc or equivalent education.
  • Expertise in Azure, GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes security.
  • Experience with security architecture, threat modeling, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and identity management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with virtual, international teams.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Certifications such as KCNA, KCSA, CKA, CKS, CKAD, CISSP.
