Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a senior manager to lead two family-style residential children’s homes in Chester, England. You will inspire staff to deliver trauma-informed care and drive the expansion of the residential service, ensuring high-quality support for looked-after children.

Fit depends on senior experience in a children's residential home and a Level 5 management qualification or equivalent, with a focus on improving outcomes and embedding creative, new ways of working

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Management or equivalent.
• Senior-level experience in a children's residential home.
• Experience working with vulnerable children and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage two family-style residential children’s homes.
• Lead, inspire and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Support children to reach their potential and improve outcomes.
• Provide trauma-informed care in the homes.
• Help deliver expansion of the residential service.
• Take part in change programmes improving support for looked-after children.
