Job summary

An established accountancy practice in Eastbourne is recruiting a Senior Manager. The role involves working with the Partner to oversee client portfolios, supervise staff, review accounts and tax returns, and ensure high service standards in accounts, tax and advisory work.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in practice, capable of independent work and leading a team while maintaining strong client relationships and effective

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years' PQE in practice.
• Experience supervising, training or managing staff.
• Strong knowledge of accounts and taxation and client service.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and good communication with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Deal with client and HMRC correspondence and queries.
• Provide general tax and accounting advice to clients.
• Assist with advisory work including forecasts, management accounts and incorporations.
• Oversee team workflow, workload and deadlines.
• Supervise, train and support team members.
• Manage attendance and holiday arrangements.
• Maintain strong and professional client relationships.
• Use accounting and tax software including Xero, CCH, Excel and Word.

Working closely with the Partner, you will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee a team of staff and play a key role in maintaining high standards across accounts, taxation and client service. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience within practice, who is confident working independently and managing a team.

The Role

About You
