Job Description:

A fast-growing, international FMCG company—home to several high-profile health and wellness brands—is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their UK team for a 12-14 month fixed-term contract.

With operations in over 40 global markets and a footprint across grocery, e-commerce, convenience, and sport and fitness, this business continues to scale rapidly. Joining the London-based team, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function locally while supporting broader group initiatives.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on role, you’ll report to the Head of Finance and take ownership of core management accounting activities, commercial reporting, and business partnering. You’ll work closely with both UK&I teams and the wider group finance function, headquartered in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and commercial accruals
• Contribute to local and group reporting packs
• Support Account Assistant with Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable processes
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and banking/payment run reviews
• Prepare VAT and corporation tax returns
• Act as liaison for auditors, preparing required documentation
• Lead and participate in ad hoc financial projects and reporting improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience
• Solid management accounting knowledge and commercial finance understanding
• Previous experience in FMCG or a high-growth challenger brand is advantageous
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft D365 and Power BI is a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactive, organised, and able to juggle competing priorities with ease
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in fast-moving settings

Location: London - 4 days in office

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (ideally Aug/Sept 2025 – Oct/Nov 2026)
