About The Role

Due to expansion, we are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team in Leeds.

Location: Leeds
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 8 to ensure positive performance
• Producing monthly management accounts and routine journal postings
• Posting daily cash transactions and bank reconciliations
• Monitoring rebate accounts for timely payments
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Analyzing financial performance against budgets
• Collaborating with depot managers on KPIs to drive improvements
• Nominal coding of invoices
• Preparing year-end financial statements and maintaining records of fixed assets
• Working with auditors to ensure compliance

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous management experience
• Proficient in Excel (advanced)
• Part-qualified or studying CIMA or equivalent
• Creative with data visualization and reporting skills
• Organized, analytical, and results-driven
• Excellent communication skills
