Job summary

Perch Group is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team in a data-driven, growth-oriented environment. You will own management reporting, assist with month-end close, and partner with operational teams to drive informed business decisions.

Qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidates with 3–5 years in management accounting are encouraged to apply. The role is based at our Blackpool office with hybrid working and a 37.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• 3–5 years in management accounting or similar finance role
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large data
• Strong commercial awareness and business partnering experience
• Proactive, organised and excellent stakeholder communication
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts
• Deliver variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Analyse large and complex datasets to provide actionable business insights
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions
• Work closely with operational teams to understand performance drivers
• Support with business partnering
• Assist in improving reporting processes and systems
• Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and projects as required

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic, data-driven environment.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight, taking ownership of management reporting, supporting month-end close, partnering with stakeholders, and supporting business decision-making.
