Qualifications

• Experience in producing management accounts independently.

• Liaise with auditors and manage the audit process.
• Prepare journals, prepayments, and accruals.

Job Overview

Halliday Marx has partnered with a media firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Responsibilities

• Producing a full set of Management Accounts involving a divisional P&L/Balance Sheet
• Actual vs budget variance analysis
• Budgeting + forecasting for 1 entity
• Liaising with the auditors
• Preparation of journals, prepayments and accruals
• Producing the statutory accounts
• Manage the audit process
• Reconciliation of payroll to the general ledger
• VAT Submissions

Requirements

• Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience independently producing a full set of management accounts
• Tight month-end experience
• Balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Strong Excel skills (Vlookup & Pivot Tables as a minimum)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
