Senior Management Accountant, Large Arts Organisation, £55-60k per annum, Central London

We’re supporting a high-profile organisation in their search for a Senior Management Accountant to join their established finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified finance professional to step into a pivotal role, supporting a wide range of strategic, operational, and project-based activity.

You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and guidance, with a particular focus on fund accounting, grant management, and supporting large-scale engagement and development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and thrives in a complex environment with real purpose.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality management accounting services across a number of departments, supporting decision-making and long-term planning
• Lead and manage a small team of Management Accountants – offering direction, development and support
• Advise on grant management, fund accounting, heritage asset accounting, and regulatory compliance
• Support the development and monitoring of strategic projects and public-facing programmes
• Prepare and review management reports, forecasts, budgets, and financial submissions
• Contribute to the design and implementation of improved financial processes and controls
• Work with non-finance colleagues to build financial awareness and ensure robust financial planning

About you:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of fund and grant accounting, along with a solid understanding of accounting standards, VAT, and tax
• Skilled at presenting financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders, including non-finance staff
• Demonstrable experience of team leadership, business partnering and improving processes
• Comfortable working on complex projects, managing multiple priorities and driving best practice
