Client Details

Our client is a well-established, large organisation within the FMCG industry. Situated across two sites, Swansea and Llantristant, they pride themselves on their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Description

• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Manage and mentor a small finance team
• Review and analyse financial data to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
• Monitor and control expenditure against budgets
• Implement cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and manage audit processes

Profile

A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong knowledge and experience in the FMCG industry
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven experience in managing financial audits and compliance processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed business decisions
