Zusammenfassung

Royal Mail Group seeks a Maintenance Shift Lead to drive safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance across the Midlands Super Hub. The role leads a team of engineers, plans 12-hour shifts and coordinates with production, engineering and procurement for shutdowns and projects.

You will apply hands-on PLC, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical know-how, while leading continuous improvement initiatives and strategic maintenance planning.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 4 in Electrical and Mechanical required.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and developing performance.
• Extensive industrial maintenance experience with supervisory roles.

Aufgaben

• Lead safety culture with hazard identifications, risk assessments and investigations.
• Develop and execute shift maintenance strategies to meet targets and reliability.
• Supervise and coach maintenance technicians and SMEs.
• Line manage maintenance teams including performance, attendance and HR policies.
• Deliver preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage shift budgets and control costs for labour and materials.
• Lead root-cause analyses and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and procurement for shutdowns and projects.
