Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Shift Manager to lead a high-performing team at the Midlands Super Hub. The role focuses on safety, reliability of automated equipment, and delivering a world-class maintenance strategy across advanced systems.

You will manage shift teams, drive performance metrics, and work with Production, Engineering and Procurement to plan shutdowns and capital projects. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract based in Crick.

Qualifications

• A qualified engineer with NVQ4 or equivalent.
• Experience leading maintenance teams to improve performance.
• Extensive industrial engineering maintenance background.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance across automation assets.
• Develop and execute shift maintenance strategies to meet targets.
• Supervise and coach maintenance technicians for high performance.
