Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities in a busy manufacturing environment in the United Kingdom. You will own maintenance tasks, troubleshoot faults and drive improvements across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.

The role offers a competitive £50k–£55k salary, day shifts, and opportunities to broaden experience with PLCs and automated machinery, while working with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Electrical or mechanical maintenance background.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
• Fault finding across electrical/mechanical systems.
• Willingness to learn and work across electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Planned preventative maintenance across the site.
• Maintain motors, drives, control panels and industrial machinery.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Safely isolating and reinstating electrical equipment.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems.
