Job summary

Manchester Digital is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the ML engineering capability, turning data science opportunities into secure, production-grade services. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and product teams to translate complex challenges into scalable ML solutions.

You will own the full ML lifecycle, establish engineering standards, drive MLOps adoption, ensure reliability and security, and coach teams to grow the organisation's ML capability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end ML lifecycle in production environments.
• Strong Python skills to design and develop scalable ML solutions.
• Proficient in MLOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Ability to guide architecture, engineering practices and risk.
• Experience influencing across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to responsible AI and data ethics.
