Job summary

Proactive Appointments Ltd. is seeking a seasoned M365 Messaging & Collaboration Architect to lead architectural strategy across the enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.

The role requires hands-on credibility, strong design authority, and the ability to drive secure, scalable collaboration platforms. You will shape the technical roadmap, govern design standards, oversee security integrations such as Proofpoint, DMARC, DKIM and SPF, and mentor engineers across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience designing and delivering Microsoft enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Extensive architectural experience across Exchange Online and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Purview, Defender for Office 365 and 365 governance.
• Experience leading Microsoft 365 transformation programmes.
• Experience with secure enterprise messaging design and migration.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 messaging and collaboration services.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level designs for complex 365 programmes.
• Act as Design Authority for messaging and collaboration solutions.
• Guide engineering teams through complex implementations and security challenges.
• Define governance, DLP, retention and compliance within Microsoft 365.
