Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager for a major commercial construction project. The role involves leading on-site M&E activities, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring works meet programme, quality, and safety requirements.

You will review drawings and specifications, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and liaise with client representatives to resolve issues and achieve handover readiness. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical building services.
• Commercial construction background is essential.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple M&E packages.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all M&E activities on site from installation through to completion.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors and site teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical services with the main construction programme and other trades.
• Review drawings, specifications, programmes, and technical information.
• Monitor progress, quality, and installation standards across the project.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues on site.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations and project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
