Job summary

Egis UK is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our Buildings Advisory team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will manage M&E cost control, procurement support, and tender processes, interfacing with clients and design teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The role requires degree-level education or demonstrated relevant experience, with strong contract administration and cost-management skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or able to demonstrate experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in contract administration across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of tender progresses and relevant contracts.
• Ability to manage costs and provide cost advice to clients.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client, design team and delivery team to support project delivery.
• Ensure projects are on time and on budget with effective communication.
• Prepare and review cost information, procurement recommendations and tender documents.
• Oversee/ review junior staff work and support project appointments.
• Represent Egis professionally with clients and stakeholders.
