Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking an experienced M&E Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor for East London assignments. You’ll manage procurement, subcontract packages and post-contract duties on major new build and refurbishment schemes worth £80m–£250m, with leadership across the project lifecycle.

The role offers stability, progression, and the possibility to work outside IR35 for freelance appointments. Immediate start is available, with a salary band aligned to £70k–£100k plus benefits (DOE)

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years’ post-degree experience within a main contractor or M&E subcontractor.
• Proven track record managing complex, large‑scale projects through to completion.
• Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing procurement and subcontract packages.
• Handling all post-contract commercial duties.
• Overseeing full project life cycle from pre-construction to final account.
• Supporting project teams to ensure successful financial delivery.
