Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our Maidenhead team on large-scale M&E and critical infrastructure projects. You will develop and maintain Level 4 programmes, monitor progress, identify risks and support commercial claims, with travel across Slough, Hayes, London and occasional Netherlands.

Strong experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and a solid grasp of critical path analysis, is essential to drive fast-track delivery in data centres,

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years planning experience within construction, engineering or M&E.
• Strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar.
• Experience developing detailed construction programmes, ideally Level 4.
• Good understanding of M&E construction and project delivery.
• Experience on large-scale, fast-track projects.
• Strong knowledge of programme logic and critical path analysis.
• Experience reviewing and managing subcontractor programmes.
• Strong progress reporting and programme analysis skills.
• Ability to support commercial teams with programme impacts and claims.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 project programmes
• Manage cost-loaded and labour-loaded programmes
• Monitor site progress and update project schedules
• Review and integrate subcontractor programmes
• Produce weekly lookaheads and progress reports
• Analyse critical path, dependencies, milestones and programme risks
• Identify slippage and develop recovery plans
• Support claims, extensions of time and commercial applications
• Attend planning, progress and coordination meetings
• Track commissioning activities and ensure alignment with the programme
• Work closely with delivery teams to maintain accurate and achievable schedules
