Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer to support a major clean water project in Winchester. You will coordinate engineering, design, procurement and delivery, ensuring timely information for construction and commissioning while contributing to cost control and programme management.

The role requires a solid background in M&E, experience on infrastructure projects, and strong communication with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Solid engineering/technical background in M&E.
HNC or higher engineering/technical qualification.
Experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
Experience coordinating engineering, design, procurement and site delivery.
Experience with subcontractors and suppliers.
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
Good understanding of CDM and health and safety requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an effective M&E delivery strategy for the project.
Coordinate engineering, design and procurement to support construction and commissioning.
Monitor project costs against tender and approved variations.
Provide cost and progress information for forecasts and reporting.
Support programme preparation and management.
Liaise with design teams to progress technical solutions.
