Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is seeking a skilled M&E Inspector to oversee and ensure compliance in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for a project in Necton, Norfolk. The ideal candidate will have a background in HVDC technology, extensive supervisory experience, and relevant safety certifications. This freelance role requires immediate availability, working 5 days a week at an Onshore Converter Station, and offers a chance to contribute significantly to the project's success.

Qualifications

• Time-served LV/MV or HV Equipment/Systems Inspector.
• Recognized site supervisor with safety qualifications.
• National Grid accredited 'Person' and BESC trained.
• 8-10 years of experience supervising M&E works in substations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical works performed by contractors for compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports for site management.
• Verify documentation against design requirements.
• Support review of installation and commissioning records.
