Job summary

Damicor, a well-established M&E engineering services provider, is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator in Dartford, Kent. You will oversee estimating and tender processes from enquiry to handover, supported by a strong team across London and the South East.

The role requires 3+ years in M&E contracting, strong estimating and drawing interpretation skills, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. Join a growing business with diverse projects and long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a mechanical and electrical contractor.
• Strong estimating experience with mechanical and/or electrical packages.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services; ability to interpret drawings and tender docs.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy; strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office; ability to work in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process for commercial fit-out, refurbishment and new-build projects.
• Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission.
• Review tender docs and project requirements; develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare compliant tenders with clarifications, assumptions and exclusions.
• Produce net estimates with clear cost breakdowns; ensure timely submissions.
• Engage subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and analyses.
• Support tender adjudication and decision-making with clear information.
