Job summary

Davies Group is seeking a Senior Loss Adjuster to manage a portfolio of High Net Worth, Major Loss and complex property claims, including subsidence and escape of oil incidents, on a field-based basis.

You will own claims from instruction to settlement, delivering expert technical advice to policyholders, brokers and insurers, while maintaining exceptional service and timely communications. Strong knowledge of domestic property claims and ACILA/FCILA qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling property claims within a loss adjusting environment.
• Strong knowledge of High Net Worth and domestic property claims.
• Exposure to major loss claims or willingness to develop in this area.
• Progress towards ACILA or FCILA qualification is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of High Net Worth, Major Loss and complex property claims.
• Delivering market-leading customer service aligned to demanding client expectations.
• Conducting investigations, site visits and assessments to determine cause, extent and value of losses.
• Producing high-quality reports and technical recommendations for insurers and clients.
• Maintaining regular communication with policyholders, brokers, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring all claims are progressed efficiently and in line with SLAs and targets.
• Building strong relationships with clients and brokers to support partnerships.
• Collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to achieve best outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities to utilise wider Davies Group services for customers.
• Participating in a one week in three out-of-hours on-call rota for a key client account.
