Job summary

Guardian Jobs is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Design & Planning Executive to own the design, development and planning of incoming group programmes across London and the UK. The role requires a creative mindset, excellent London knowledge and strong ability to translate client briefs into inspiring programme concepts.

Working with Directors and Project Directors, you will shape proposals, manage supplier input, develop costed itineraries and support handover from sales to operation.

Qualifications

• Mid-level role suited to someone with proven experience in events, travel, hospitality, destination management, or related client-service environment.
• Strong knowledge of Britain, London hotels, venues, attractions and experiences, and ability to translate client briefs into practical concepts.
• Excellent proposal writing, costings, itineraries and planning documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designing and planning creative event programme concepts for incoming corporate, association and incentive groups.
• Interpret client briefs and develop tailored proposals balancing creativity, practicality, budget and feasibility.
• Prepare polished proposal content using in-house systems, including itinerary copy and destination descriptions.
• Research and recommend venues, hotels, restaurants, experiences and services to support strong programme design.
• Build timelines, logistics plans, costings and budgets for review by Directors.
• Liaise with suppliers for guides, coaches, venues, entertainment and services.
• Provide on-site support to inform stronger planning and design when required.
