Qualifications

• Experience (min 4 years) of planning and managing group events.
• Knowledge of London and the UK as a competitive business tourism market.
• Ability to work with executive-level clients to develop customized programme solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Awareness of latest industry trends and insights.
• Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills.
• A master juggler who is great under pressure, collaborative and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and implement complex programme operations on-site, including long and unsocial hours.
• Manage programme budgets from initiation to final invoice and deposits.
• Post-programme wrap-up: debriefs, invoicing, final accounting and supplier liaison.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and represent the company at industry events.
• Research venues and services to develop new events and services.
• Support the sales team with proposals for clients.
• Manage client relationships (often international) with cultural awareness and VIP handling.
• Coordinate suppliers, staffing, transportation, entertainment and decor.
