Qualifications
- Experience as Logistics Manager or Distribution Manager.
- Experience with high-volume distribution operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and transport operations.
- Experience working with large-scale retail or e-commerce customers is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the fleet and distribution operations.
- Manage on-road logistics to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Ensure all deliveries are on time and to SLA.
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Plan staffing levels, shift patterns, and holiday cover.
- Lead, motivate, and develop delivery teams.
