Overview

Senior Logistics Coordinator - Pricing role at TieTalent, based near Heathrow airport. The role handles pricing mainly Cross-Trade Airfreight Exports to/from anywhere in the world. AOG/time-critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage time-critical logistics solutions across Europe and Worldwide, operating within strict time restraints to ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Liaise with international air freight agents, airline operators and brokers to agree transport costs and source the best solutions to fit client requirements.
• Understand and mitigate risks involved with each shipment.
• Calculate air freight rates, including chargeable weight conversions.
• Monitor and update our bespoke transport management system as required.
• Make bookings directly with airlines/agents.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and handle enquiries promptly.
• General administration and any other duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Time-critical logistics experience is desirable.
• Analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Working knowledge of forwarding software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of handling air freight and related regulations.

Hours and Salary

The working hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on a rota pattern (3-shift system): 7:00–15:30, 8:00–16:30 and 10:00–18:30.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits.
