Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Logistics & Freight Coordinator in Bridgend to manage international freight operations across air, sea and road. You will coordinate customs clearance and documentation, and mentor peers while driving process improvements and progress toward management.

In this senior role, you will negotiate rates with carriers, monitor shipments and ensure timely deliveries, with Monday–Friday hybrid working and competitive holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, VAT and international trade regulations.
• Experience managing end-to-end international shipments across multiple transport modes.
• Good understanding of import/export documentation and Incoterms.
• Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Leadership potential and a genuine ambition to progress into management.

Responsibilities

• Manage international freight shipments across air, sea and road.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced

Senior Logistics & Freight Coordinator

to join a growing business based in Bridgend.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to manage international freight operations across air, sea and road, while taking on additional responsibility for team support, operational improvements and customer service.

You’ll manage shipments from start to finish, coordinate customs clearance and documentation, negotiate with freight partners and ensure international deliveries run smoothly.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor colleagues, improve processes and progress towards a management position.

What We Offer

£45,000-£49,000 per annum, depending on experience.
