Job summary

Centrica Energy in London is seeking a Senior LNG Engineer to join our LNG Technology team. This hands-on role leads complex platform enhancements, driving technical improvements and modernising technology for our LNG trading business.

You’ll ensure resilience, maintainability and strong architectural standards while mentoring peers and translating business requirements into scalable tech outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Architecture and Operations to shape

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience building enterprise apps with C#/.NET.
Strong API design, integration, and distributed systems experience.
Solid software-architecture knowledge including scalability and security.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of complex platform enhancements and tech improvements.
Promote code quality, testing, and platform resilience across teams.
Own solutions from design to deployment and production support.
Investigate and fix complex production incidents with long-term fixes.
Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis and Architecture teams on solutions.
Contribute to platform strategy, debt reduction and tech decisions.
Mentor engineers with technical guidance and reviews.
Advance automation, observability, and DevOps maturity.
