Job summary

Cititec in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading energy trading business's LNG Technology team and play a key role in modernising their trading platform. You’ll refactor a complex legacy system and shape the future architecture while getting hands-on with build efforts.

You’ll work across C#/.NET, AWS, distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, with opportunities to influence how things are done.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience refactoring or re-platforming complex legacy systems is a plus.

Senior Software Engineer | London | Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office

I’m working with a leading energy trading business who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their LNG Technology team and play a key role in a major modernisation of their trading platform.

You’ll be helping refactor and redesign a complex legacy platform, shaping the future architecture and getting hands-on with the build.

You’ll be working across C#/.NET, AWS, distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, with plenty of scope to influence technical decisions and challenge how things are done.

They’re looking for engineers who have built systems from scratch or been involved in significant refactoring and re-platforming projects. LNG or ETRM experience is a bonus, but modern software engineering experience is the priority.
