Job summary

Ashgrove Care Home in Hounslow is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction for residents. You will plan a varied programme of group and 1:1 activities, tailored to individual interests and care needs, including residents with dementia.

We welcome both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

Qualifications

A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
A genuine interest in supporting older people.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, meaningful activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction.
Plan and run group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs.
Build relationships to understand preferences and enable inclusive participation (including residents with dementia).
Work with the wider team to create a positive, stimulating environment and support development in the role.
