Job summary

Sycamore Hall Care Home, part of Hill Care Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a diverse range of engaging activities for residents. You will tailor programs to individual needs, promote social engagement, and support wellbeing.

Work closely with the Home Manager and care team, accompany residents on outings, assist with fundraising and budget management, and supervise volunteers. DBS check is required; previous care setting experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering activities for older adults.
• Experience in a care setting is preferred.
• DBS check (satisfactory) required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, proactive and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and lead a varied programme of activities for residents.
• Encourage participation, support hobbies, and foster a social environment.
• Accompany residents on external excursions and assist with fundraising and budget management.
• Maintain accurate activity records and contribute to care plans.
• Supervise volunteers and junior staff involved in activities.
