Job summary

Universal Live Ltd is seeking an experienced Sound Technician to lead on audio delivery for a range of live and hybrid events across the UK. You will setup, operate and fault-find audio systems, working alongside project managers and other technicians to ensure high-quality sound and memorable client experiences.

The role requires hands-on experience with analogue and digital systems, including mixers, routing and Dante-networked audio.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering technically demanding corporate and live events.
Strong understanding of analogue and digital audio systems.
Experience with mixing consoles, routing, and show files.

Responsibilities

Prepare, configure and operate professional audio systems for live events.
Collaborate with Project Managers to specify suitable audio solutions.
Manage digital audio, wireless mics, recording, streaming, and hybrid audio.
Deploy and optimise PA systems for reliable coverage and speech intelligibility.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain high standards of prep and delivery.
Liaise with clients, venues and other departments during events.
Support development of other technicians and share knowledge.
