The primary function is to lead on sound preparation, setup and operation across a wide range of events, working closely with Project Managers and other technicians to deliver high-quality audio and memorable experiences for our clients.
You will take responsibility for the technical delivery of audio on-site, from system setup and configuration through to show operation and fault-finding, acting as a go-to person for sound within the technical team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Sound Technician with proven experience delivering technically demanding live events, with corporate conferences and events being the primary focus.
Experience from other live production environments such as music, theatre or touring is also welcomed where the skills are relevant to the role.
We are looking to recruit an individual who shares our core values of teamwork, innovation, passion, creativity, attention to detail, boldness and client service.
This is a technically experienced role, but just as importantly we are looking for someone who will work well as part of the existing team, share their knowledge and contribute positively to how we deliver events.
Our ethos is to take our work seriously, but not ourselves, so a sense of humour and the ability to have some fun along the way is also a great attribute to have.
Although much of the time we aim to work standard office hours, the live event industry isn’t your typical day job and offers a vibrant, fast-paced and rewarding working environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will understand that this comes with the need for flexibility in terms of the working week, including evenings, weekends, overnight stays and travel, dependent on project requirements and business needs.
As a business we promote a healthy work/life balance, and you’ll be rewarded for time worked outside office hours.
