Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
We are looking for an energetic, confident Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our litigation and dispute resolution team within the wider debt and commercial function. You will handle a caseload of pre-action and litigated matters.

What We Need from Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of matters and undertake all pre-action steps as well as post-litigation procedures.
- Issue Court Action and take all necessary steps up to and including enforcement options.
- Prepare and draft Court documentation, such as Replies to Defences, Witness Statements, Disclosure, Set Aside Hearings, and court Bundles, from the issue stage onwards.
- Work on a diverse caseload including small claims, fast/intermediate track, and multi-track claims.
- Carry out Mediations.
- Handle Summary Judgments and Applications to Lift Stays.
- Manage Statutory Demands and Winding Up petitions.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
- Provide guidance and training to Junior Paralegals and Legal Administrative Staff.
- Gather necessary evidence and data to support a high volume of claims.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Conduct research and analysis of case law to support legal arguments.
- Exhibit confident advocacy skills.
- Utilise case management systems effectively.
- Deliver commercial litigation services and support a culture of achieving win-win outcomes.
- Provide front-line legal advice and support related to our growing customer base.

- Technically strong litigation experience: CILEx – Qualified or studying; ability to work independently.
- Confident advocate with strong communication skills in Court and knowledge of the CPR.
